Salutations booksters, I hope you are having a wonderful Summer filled with big hats, smoothies in mason jars, fringed vests, craft beer festivals and plenty of wonderful reads. You know, so you can be your very own and best bookish hipster. Anyway, my Summer is far from what I just described as a bookster ideal. While I wish I was in a festival with my flowery dress and my oversized sun glasses, my adventures are reduced to basically going from and to work with a book inside my tote bag. But hey, at least I have time to blog. I guess.
My beloved bookworms, let’s say hi to June, the anticipated Summer, ice-cream season and flowery dresses. Look at me being so lovely and girlie. But let’s cut to the chase here, this is my birthday’s month AND Game of Thrones upcoming season is getting closer. So let’s say freaking hi to DRAGONS and birthday presents as well.
Woop woop! Hello May, AND HELLO ACOWAR. Oops, sorry. My excitement, you know. Anyway, April has come to an end and it’s time to wrap it up. This month I read a total of 6 books (plus one I started and didn’t finish during this last month). Some of them I loved, some others weren’t so great after all. I shared posts about Pinterest, lovely corners of Spain and I talked about myself on the Q&A I opened on instagram. And finally, I share with all of you my latest bookstagram obsession. If you want to know more, click click click and shall the wrap up begin.
After succumbing to the dreadful reading slump and all those weeks of having goodreads reminding me that I am 5 books behind schedule, I can finally say: Baby, I’m back. The struggle is real, but I am finally getting back in reading shape, and I can even post a wrap up with more than 3 books. And what’s more important, take that, goodreads! This girl is now on track.
But enough about me and my
not amazing reading accomplishments, from now on the monthly Wrap-Ups in The Bibliotheque will be a little bit different. From this month on, I will be including 2 new sections in my wrap-up:
The highlight of the month & my latest favourite Instagram account
Curious already? Happy to hear that, because I am uber excited to share with you which bookstagram accounts are my latest obsessions.
Oh dear. Oh boy. Shame on the bookblogger.
This month has flown away and has left me with a horrifying figure of books read. I do really need to get a hold of my life as a reader right now.
