Books are my Valentine. These romance releases are HOT and right out the oven.

Booksters, I am feeling all the pressure. The day is upon us. Shop windows have been puking rainbows and hearts for a few weeks now. And I know that some of you don’t give two f…rogs about love and its pertinent celebration. But the day in which we grace the arrival of a certain half naked angel that throws arrows in his quest of finding us a significant other is here nonetheless. So we may as well accept all the chocolate we can get, am I right? After all, tinder dates don’t come wrapped in a sweet and chocolatey exterior.

Listen, I know you don’t want to hear it but I’ll say it anyway just for the sake of being stubborn – and because I love to make a point when I am right, which is most of times *winks*. Love should be celebrated each and every day of the year. But for those of you feeling particularly extra, I am here for you regardless. I celebrate Valentine’s every time I pick up a romance book, and trust me, that is so often I could very well start throwing arrows around. But I want to keep my job and sanity so instead, I am bringing you seven of the latest romance releases. Because we need no partner to celebrate love. We need no roses, no chocolates and no corny cards. Books can be your Valentine. So scroll down and indulge your inner cheeseball. But careful, some of these reads are HOT.

Blurb | It was a big lie. The biggest lie she’d ever told. It reverberated through her head as she said it, ringing eerily, and the girl behind her eyes—the girl who knew the truth—screamed, and her scream echoed along with the lie.
“Are you in love with Noah, Mercedes?” Cora asked. “I mean . . . I know you love him. You’ve been friends forever. We all have. But are you in love with him?”  If it had been anyone else—anyone—Mercedes would have stuck out her chest, folded her skinny arms, and let her feelings be known. She would have claimed him. But it was Cora. Brave, beautiful, broken Cora, and Cora loved Noah too.  So Mercedes lied. And with that lie, she lost him. With that lie, she sealed her fate. She was the best friend, the bridesmaid, the godmother, the glue. She was there for the good times and the bad, the ups and the downs, the biggest moments and the smallest parts. And never ever fall for one. No matter how charming, big-hearted and devilishly clever the man is.  But you know what they say about best laid plans… Once I start spending my off-season days and nights with Jones, I’m following a brand new playbook, one that has me falling hard for the incorrigible flirt — heart, body and mind. That’s against the rules, and now what seemed like a bright idea has turned into a dangerously forbidden one.
It was supposed to be an I-scratch-her-back-she-scratched-mine kind of arrangement. And man, did Jillian ever drag her nails down my back on one hell of a hot night.
